Troubleshooting & FAQs
Quick answers to common questions and solutions to typical issues.
What should I do if my water pump isn't working?
Check that the water tank has water and the pump switch is on. Inspect the fuse or circuit breaker for the pump. Check all connections for loose wiring. If the pump hums but no water flows, it may be air-locked — try priming it by opening a faucet. If none of that works, the pump likely needs to be replaced.
How often should I service my generator?
Generally every 100–150 hours of use, or at least once a year. That includes oil and filter changes, spark plug inspection, air filter cleaning, and load testing. If you run it infrequently, a yearly service is still recommended to keep seals and fuel systems healthy.
What's covered under my warranty?
This varies by manufacturer, but typically structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances are covered for 1–3 years. Wear items (tires, batteries, seals) are usually excluded. Always check your specific warranty documentation for exact terms and exclusions.
How do I winterize my van?
Drain and blow out all water lines using compressed air, or flush with RV-safe antifreeze. Drain the water heater and tank. Remove or insulate the battery. Add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. Cover exterior vents to keep pests out and store in a covered location if possible.
Where can I get replacement parts?
Try the manufacturer’s website first for OEM parts. Amazon, etrailer.com, and RVupgrades.com carry common components. For specialized parts, give us a call for additional info and ordering.
Can I upgrade my van after purchase?
Yes – lithium battery systems, upgraded inverters, roof fans, interior selections and insulation upgrades are all common post-purchase modifications. Just make sure any electrical upgrades are done by a qualified installer to avoid voiding your warranty. Make sure to call us
